Pune: Here comes the D Day for more than 14 lakh students including more than 5.50 lakh girls who appeared in the Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) led HSC exams this year as Board is all set to release the results by 11:00 today as was stated in the official notifications released by the board earlier. Earlier, Chairperson of MSBSHSE, Sarjerao Jadhav had agreed on Board behalf to award 7 grace marks to the students who had attempted a wrong question in SET B of the English paper. Out of the total students, around 3.5 lakh students got the SET B exam paper out of which 64% students attempted the question who would be awarded with 7 marks.
This year, Board has made proper arrangement to kill the bandwidth issue before occurring as results would be published on number of sites at the said time, where students would be able to check their results on www.mahresult.nic.in, www.msbshse.ac.in, www.mh-hsc.ac.in, www.hscresult.mkcl.org and www.rediff.com/exams. BSNL users can also access the results through SMS, to check, type MHHSC(space)Seat Number and send it to 57766.
MSBSHSE secretary Krishnkumar Patil informed the media that results summary along with students marksheets would be sent to the respective junior colleges by June 6; however for the time being students can take the print of the subject wise marks to apply for admissions.
He also informed that students can apply for verification of marks after getting their original marksheets up to June 17. Students can also request for the photo copies of their answer sheets by paying Rs. 400 as fees and submitting the application on or before 19th June' 2013. Board, from this year onwards, has also started the marks revaluation facility for which students need to apply with 5 days of receiving the photocopy of their answer sheets.
