Tremor felt of mild earthquake in Delhi, Jaipur today

An earthquake of 5.8 magnitude hit the Kashmir valley couple of hours ago today (Monday) which forced the people to rush out of buildings to avoid any devastation.

Met Officials said, "The tremor with its epicentre in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan occurred around 3.20pm and lasted for just 3 seconds".

Is it a coincidence that this earthquake has arrived just after the couple of days of Supermoon which took place on 19th March, 2011?

Experts are of the view that it is absolutely rubbish to relate this with the supermoon as the moon has no significant effect on earthquake triggering, if the moon triggers "big" earthquakes, it would trigger the many of millions of times more "small" earthquakes that happen daily.
