Jetting towards career in theatre

Unlike other 21- year- olds who find partying as the most engaging activity, Namrata Goyal daughter of Naresh Goyal, the head honcho of Jet Airways is on a mission, with her first directorial debut play ' Black Comedy' premeried at Rangsharda on Tuesday night.

The unique feature of this play being that all actors who performed are Jet employees and have never performed before. Says Namrata, " Today after performing in five different cities of India and in front of hundreds of people, our employees do not have any stage fear."

So what made Namrata include nonactors in her play, " Actually when I returned from UK, after doing my film making course, my mother told me to work on team building exercise, for our company.

Having got a film background helped me, and hence I decided to direct my play and involve employees of my company to act in it." Namrata looks up to her mother for inspiration, " My mother has given me a very middle class up bringing, which has helped me a lot while I was in UK." What started as a team building exercise, has today become a great success.
